Dianne Betkowski, cellist of acclaimed World Music Jazz/Flamenco Fusion ensemble, Miguel Espinoza Fusion, based in Denver CO, has performed, toured and recorded with the St. Louis, Utah, Honolulu and Colorado Symphony Orchestras. She is also a composer whose works have been performed by the Rochester Philharmonic, and the National, St. Louis, Houston, Honolulu, Boston Civic, and Colorado Symphonies, among many other groups. Dianne has also performed with the Boston Composers Quartet and the Lark Quartet. She was a featured composer in a masterclass by Leonard Bernstein at Boston University. Her book, How to Get To Carnegie Hall: A Weekly Music Practice Schedule, is in its second printing. Dianne is the founder and former director of Denver Eclectic Concert. She and her MEF colleagues have hosted unique music camps through Urban Arts Music, and present clinics, lessons, classes and concerts at universities and colleges across the US as part of their residency programs. In addition to performing with MEF, Dianne enjoys teaching cello, performing and coaching chamber music, and inspiring musicians of all levels. She is the Guest Artist coordinator of chamber music and ensemble studies at the Denver School of the Arts.
